Your story: I am working with a Life Skills Teacher on a research project that incorporates Internet site evaluation, MLA citation, and use of note cards ala Deborah Stanley's system. Students are researching pre-determined subtopics of how to get into college. I am having fun working with this teacher, devloping a criteria chart and rubric for this pretty in-depth project. The students seem to be responding well. We begin making notecards in earnest
tommorrow. This is what libraryland is like: good collaboration with a colleague and high school kids actually learning. So much fun!
